Abstract
The study on Survey Paradata collects paradata for administrative and methodological purposes. Online paradata of the study zp are generated server-side based and automatically during the response process.
Paradata missings follow a simplified missing value scheme, where “-33” corresponds to unit nonresponses and “-77” corresponds to missing values due to any other reason (e.g., page not reached, technical error).

Comments
The relative time stamps (RTS) are collected on a page-by-page basis and are server-based. That means these time measurements also contain the time it takes for the questionnaire page to load. This time varies depending, for example, on the speed of the Internet connection. The relative time stamp for each questionnaire page reports the time difference in seconds between pressing the “submit“-button of the respective page and the absolute time stamp. The absolute time stamp signifies the difference in seconds between 1.1.1970 and the moment of loading the first page of the survey.
In addition to the previously mentioned paradata, embedded client-side paradata (ECSP) was collected for each page. A total of 32 ECSP variables were captured per page. Due to the large volume of this data and the potential presence of sensitive information, these variables are not included in the regular dataset.
